This three-hour epic production re-tells one of the greatest stories from the Bible as Abraham stands firm thanks to his incredible courage and trust in God's promise that "..in thee shall all families of the Earth be blest" (Genesis 12, 2-3). Three of the World's great religions - Christianity, Islam and Judaism - can look back to Abraham as their founder and their 'Father in Faith; a great prophet who suffered and fought for his faith and spirituality. Richard Harris (Harry Potter films, Gladiator, Patriot Games, Camelot) is commanding in the title performance as he submits to God's great trials. Barbara Hershey (Lantana, Tin Men, Hannah & Her Sisters) sensitively plays the role of the beautiful but tragically infertile Sara, tempted and tested by the Pharoah played by Maximilian Schell (Deep Impact, Players, Odessa File). Running time: 180 mins approx, 2 episodes.

At the end of the fourth century, Romans and Barbarians lived together uneasily in the empire, a situation that often exploded into violence. When Emperor Theodosius enlisted the Goths as mercenaries, he relied on his trusted general, the half Vandal, half Roman Stilicho, to ensure the Goths' loyalty. However, Theodosius used the Goth soldiers as canon fodder in a civil war, causing them to rebel under the leadership of Alaric, a man they called king. Theodosius died soon thereafter and left the empire to his two young sons, naming Stilicho as regent in the west. As Alaric sought to find a home for his people in the empire and Stilicho fought to protect that empire from new enemies, the two men crossed paths, sometimes as allies, sometimes as enemies. In the end, both fell victim to Roman prejudice. The Goths, realizing that Romans wanted nothing to do with Barbarians, struck back against Rome itself.

The Bible (from Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία, tà biblía, "the books") is a canonical collection of texts considered sacred in Judaism or Christianity. Different religious groups include different books within their canons, in different orders, and sometimes divide or combine books, or incorporate additional material into canonical books. Christian Bibles range from the sixty-six books of the Protestant canon to the eighty-one books of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church canon. The Hebrew Bible, or Tanakh, contains twenty-four books divided into three parts; the five books of the Torah ("teaching" or "law"), the Nevi'im ("prophets"), and the Ketuvim ("writings"). The first part of Christian Bibles is the Old Testament, which contains, at minimum, the twenty-four books of the Hebrew Bible divided into thirty-nine books and ordered differently than the Hebrew Bible. The Catholic Church and Eastern Christian churches also hold certain deuterocanonical books and passages to be part of the Old Testament canon. The second part is the New Testament, containing twenty-seven books; the four Canonical gospels, Acts of the Apostles, twenty-one Epistles or letters and the Book of Revelation. By the 2nd century BCE Jewish groups had called the Bible books "holy," and Christians now commonly call the Old and New Testaments of the Christian Bible "The Holy Bible" (τὰ βιβλία τὰ ἅγια, tà biblía tà ágia) or "the Holy Scriptures" (η Αγία Γραφή, e Agía Graphḗ). Many Christians consider the whole canonical text of the Bible to be divinely inspired. The oldest surviving complete Christian Bibles are Greek manuscripts from the 4th century. The oldest Tanakh manuscript in Hebrew and Aramaic dates to the 10th century CE, but an early 4th-century Septuagint translation is found in the Codex Vaticanus. The Bible was divided into chapters in the 13th century by Stephen Langton and into verses in the 16th century by French printer Robert Estienne and is now usually cited by book, chapter, and verse. The Bible has estimated annual sales of 25 million copies, and has been a major influence on literature and history, especially in the West where it was the first mass printed book.

Jeremiah ('appointed by Jehovah') led a long and incident-filled life, trying to convert the unconverted and dangerously challenging the authority of King Nebuchadnezzar and his evil son, Merodach. The film follows Jeremiah as he abandons his family and the women he loves to deliver God's message in Jerusalem. His warnings about the Holy City being destroyed by the Babylonians results in his being branded a traitor and persecuted. But Jeremiah will not give up and suffers imprisonment and risks his life for his mission. Patrick Dempsey (Outbreak, Mobsters) brilliantly portrays Jeremiah and heads a strong cast that includes the inimitable Oliver Reed (Gladiator, Castaway, Women In Love), Klaus Maria Brandauer (Out Of Africa, The Russia House) and Leonor Varela (Tailor Of Panama, The Man In The Iron Mask). Directed by Harry Winer (House Arrest, Space Camp). Running time: 95 mins approx.

Please visit this website for many more stunning Bible secrets: http://www.UndeniableBiblicalProof.com The story of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho happened around 1294 BC. God created and controlled every detail of the "battle event" to secretly prophesy about the events preceding (and occuring at) Jesus Christ's Second Coming! Try and imagine being Joshua, around 1300 BC, and living through this seemingly odd, yet divinely inspired "event", not knowing it was all planned by God to be a precise prophetic picture of Jesus Christ's 2nd Coming! If you can allow yourself to do this, you will begin to comprehend the wonder of the Almighty Creator God...For He intended this story to be remembered and included in a book He would write through inspired men (called the Holy Bible) so He could now, in the "end-times," reveal its true, prophetic meaning! And all so you and I would have further evidence of His existence, and therefore reason to follow His Way of Love in our daily living, laying hold on eternal life for our soul.
